I began investigating ghosts and haunted places in 1985. Over the years, I have had so many unique experiences, and those memories are something that I reflect upon now and then. As the years passed, so did my ideology about the subject matter. I learned, adapted, and moved on.

One day, I cleaned out my storage shed when I stumbled across a dusty old box. Inside were dozens of old videotapes, remnants from many of those investigations that happened so long ago. Suddenly a thought crossed my mind. So many of these have never been seen by another person. They were shot, nothing interesting was found, and they were stored away.

I wondered what my reaction would be to watch them with the knowledge and worldview that I have now. Apparently, this was quite entertaining to those around me at the time. So that, coupled with a desire to share some of those memories, created these memoirs. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I have revisited them.
